LexiTurn rules and interactive tutorial

The illustrated tutorial explains how to read double-sided tiles, trace words, score accepted paths and play both daily variants. It remains useful without JavaScript because the complete core rules are included below.

Trace a word

Begin on any visible letter and continue through tiles that share a hex edge. A path cannot jump or use the same tile twice. Words contain at least three letters and must appear in the current MyTurnYet English Lexicon.

Submit, score and flip

Releasing a path submits it. An accepted word adds its length-based score and flips every tile used by that word, revealing the reverse letters. A rejected word scores nothing and leaves the board unchanged. The selected path clears after every submission.

Rush rules

The Rush clock begins when the player starts the variant. Play as many accepted words as possible before time expires. There is no unused-time bonus.

Twenty-Five rules

Twenty-Five has no countdown and ends after twenty-five accepted words. Its board is distinct from the Rush board, so each variant requires independent planning.

Scores and accounts

Anyone may play. Registering a result on the daily leaderboard requires a permanent account; the completion flow does not create guest accounts.
