These terms apply when you browse MyTurnYet, create an account, join tables, play games, use forums or chat, enter organized play, or use authentication features such as Google sign-in and passkeys. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
MyTurnYet provides tables for board games, card games, and wargames, plus related community features such as forums, friends, messages, ratings, tournaments, leagues, ladders, announcements, notifications, and game-creation tools. Each table shows its time allowances before you join. Features may be experimental while the service is new and may change as it develops.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter into these terms under the laws that apply to you. MyTurnYet is not aimed at children under 16. If you are below the age at which you can consent to data processing or enter online service terms in your country, you must have parent or guardian approval. We may refuse, restrict, or close accounts where age, identity, abuse, or legal issues make continued access inappropriate.
3. Accounts and sign-in methods
You are responsible for activity through your account. Keep your password, email account, Google account, passkeys, devices, and recovery methods secure. Do not share accounts. Sandbox seat controls are limited to the sandbox owner and are not account sharing.
Google sign-in and passkeys are sign-in methods attached to a MyTurnYet account. They do not create a separate legal relationship between you and MyTurnYet, and they do not replace these terms. Google, browser vendors, operating systems, security-key makers, and password managers may have their own terms and policies for their parts of the authentication process.
4. Tables, turns, deadlines, and replacements
When you join a table, you agree to play in good faith, follow the published rules and table settings, and respect time allowances, deadlines, readiness confirmations, replacement rules, and result rules. A table may use a player clock or a deadline for each move or phase. It may also include rated or unrated play, private invitations, replacement seats, missed-order rules, adjudication, and moderation actions.
Game engines, adjudicators, dictionaries, SVG boards, scoring, ratings, and tournament standings may contain mistakes. Report problems promptly. We may correct clear errors, roll back a broken table where feasible, mark a table void, or leave a result in place if changing it would be unfair or technically unsafe.
5. Fair play and prohibited conduct
- Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use hidden information improperly, manipulate ratings, collude at rated tables, or use multiple accounts to gain an advantage.
- Do not harass, threaten, abuse, dox, impersonate, defame, spam, or target players based on protected characteristics.
- Do not upload illegal, infringing, obscene, malicious, privacy-invasive, or misleading content.
- Do not scrape, harvest user data, overload the service, bypass access controls, automate play in a way that is not clearly allowed, or use MyTurnYet content to train models or build competing datasets without permission.
- Do not share personal information about another player unless you have permission and a legitimate reason connected to the service.
6. User content
You own the content you create, such as forum posts, chat messages, game descriptions, rules text, maps, uploaded assets, and comments, subject to any rights owned by others. By posting or uploading content, you give MyTurnYet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt for technical formatting, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote the service.
Only post content you have the right to use. Do not post another person's private information without permission. Public posts are not confidential. Deleted or edited content may remain in backups, moderation records, quotes, game histories, other users' message views, or logs where retention is needed.
7. Private tables and messages
Private tables and private messages are restricted by access controls, but they are not end-to-end encrypted and may be reviewed by authorized staff or sysadmins for support, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or debugging. Users invited to a private table may see table details, seats, messages, game state, and history needed to participate.
8. Organized play, ratings, and sanctions
Ratings, ladders, leagues, tournaments, replacement rules, NMR counts, disciplinary records, and organized-play standings are service records. We may adjust, freeze, void, or annotate results to handle bugs, abandoned games, cheating, replacements, rating abuse, or moderation decisions. Severe or repeated violations may lead to warnings, table removal, rating penalties, suspension, bans, or public depersonalization of an account.
9. Moderation and enforcement
We may remove content, restrict visibility, lock threads, rename or close tables, reject games, remove invitations, disable features, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence, or contact affected users when needed to enforce these terms, protect the service, or comply with law. We may act without prior notice where urgent or repeated abuse is involved.
10. Availability and changes
MyTurnYet is provided with reasonable care, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect adjudication, permanent storage of every record, or compatibility with every browser/device. We may change, suspend, or remove features, games, integrations, data displays, or public pages. We may perform maintenance and may temporarily restrict access for security or operational reasons.
11. Payments and consumer rights
The current service is focused on account signup, table creation, and community play. If paid features, subscriptions, merchandise, donations, or premium events are introduced, the purchase flow should identify the seller, price, tax treatment, renewal rules, cancellation rules, and any statutory withdrawal right. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory Swedish, EU, or local consumer rights that apply to you.
12. Intellectual property and third-party material
MyTurnYet owns or licenses the service code, interface, branding, site text, original assets, and service design. Board game names, trademarks, rules, maps, and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Game implementations are provided for community play and may be removed or changed if rights, accuracy, or policy concerns arise.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, MyTurnYet is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, lost ratings, missed turns, tournament outcomes, player disputes, third-party services, or content posted by users. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our total liability for claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid to MyTurnYet for the affected service during the previous twelve months. This limit does not exclude liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14. Closing accounts
You may ask to close or delete your account. Some data may be deleted, while completed game records, ratings, tournament results, replacement history, moderation evidence, legal records, security logs, and depersonalized statistics may remain where needed to preserve the integrity of the service and other players' records.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country give you additional rights. Contact legal@contact.myturnyet.com first so we can try to resolve the issue. If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved, Swedish and EU consumer dispute routes may be available where applicable. Courts or authorities with mandatory jurisdiction may still hear claims where the law requires it.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be posted on this page and, when appropriate, announced in the service or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a material change, stop using the service and contact us about account closure.
