Hearts Rules
Hearts is a four-player trick-taking card game where players try to avoid penalty cards unless they can shoot the moon.
Hearts works well turn-by-turn because each trick is easy to review and the table can keep moving even when players take turns at different times.
Core rules
- 1
Pass cards according to the round direction before trick play begins.
- 2
Follow suit when possible and avoid taking hearts and the queen of spades.
- 3
Lowest score wins after the table reaches the configured score limit.
Current implementation status
Hearts is available for table setup and play testing with pass selection, trick play, and generic card-table rendering. Full public table play opens on August 1, 2026.
