Rules guide
Backgammon Rules
Backgammon combines racing, blocking, hitting, and risk management in one of the oldest board games still played today.
Backgammon is quick to inspect between turns, but deep enough for meaningful turn-based tables with friends.
Core rules
- 1
Roll two dice and move checkers around the board toward your home board.
- 2
Hit exposed blots, build points, and bear off all checkers to win.
- 3
Use turn-based tables when players cannot meet at the same time.
Current implementation status
Backgammon is available for table setup and play testing. Full public table play opens on August 1, 2026.
